The breakfast was appetizing, with many choices. We enjoyed the 24-hour coffee service. The location was not really 100% good. The traffic around the Hotel makes it a bit difficult to get in and out with ease. Just a bit confusing on the initial finding of the Hotel. Once we did however it was ok. The staff were very professional and courteous. Very polite and very helpful.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The plumber or maintenance man was very nice, professional and seemed efficient. The staff, except for one woman, was very nice and helpful. The hotel was very quiet during the day, despite the renovations going on throughout the floor.

Best Western Rutgers University Hotel, hotel in New Brunswick

Located 3 miles from New Brunswick Amtrak, this New Jersey hotel offers accommodations with free Wi-Fi and cable TV with HBO. It features an on-site restaurant and gym.

I liked it but the blow dryer was melted into the outlet and when I went to pull the box out I got electrocuted real bad. Staff didn't not seem concerned and only told me they wouldn't charge me for a hair dryer which was already a fire hazard prior to me even checking into hotel. I was electrocuted and it wasn't taken seriously. I feel I should be accommodated the stay and not only just not charged for a blow dryer that was already melting and a fire hazard when I checked into room. I would like to be reimburse for my stay seeing as in still suffering from tingling in my right side of my arm and hand due to the shock from your hazardous blow dryer and outlet in bathroom. Which I did not use I simply went to unplug unit fron walk to plug my own personal blow dryer in from home.

We were there to move our daughter into the University, but we also had friends close by. Because we were on the Campus, we were able to make use of the college busses. They were free and took you to different spots on the Campus and also downtown which is excellent as we discovered that aspect after burning a couple days using Uber. We should have spoken to the front desk first. Do not miss going to the Rutgers Garden as it is free and also very beautiful. Lots of restaurants downtown to eat. Also utilize the list of restaurants that the front desk gives you because it has a good variety. Most of the restaurants delivers.

When in New Brunswick, brunch at Old Man Rafferty's is a must. It still has a small town feel with all the modern conveniences of an urban location. The NJ transit railroad is right in the center of town with easy access. Most everything is in walking distance.

overall it was a nice stay at Hyatt regency New Brunswick. it’s nicely maintained & clean property. Staff was also supportive but am upset that we were not given invoice upon request at the time of check out as I had done reservation from booking.com & we were also charged extra for the breakfast though it was included in our reservation package. Now I’m coordinating with the property for the same but they are not really prompt on the response.

Location good We had a hire car and parked in the multi-storey behind the hotel - the walk to the hotel from the carpark at night was un-nerving! We were not advised before arrival that breakfast was only available at weekend. Nor were we informed that the room would not be serviced during our stay (7 nights bins not emptied or bed changed)

The staff was friendly and quick. The room was nice except for some peeling paint in the bathroom. The bed is my only gripe, very uncomfortable, either an old mattress or very cheap. And the bed made noise ( if you know what I mean). Can never beat the location for New Brunswick nightlife.

It was really good and the price was a lot cheaper than some hotels from the area. Also, this place is even cleaner than all of the other hotels I stayed at in the same area. The fact that it is on a university campus is also good and I think is one of the reason for the pricing.

The room was clean and spacious. The location is not extremely close to the city center, but it's close enough to walk and there are some markets around to get groceries. Above everything, the owner was always available to answer my questions before and during my stay.
